Yung Cheng Lin, also known as “3cm”, is a talented Taiwanese photographer. In a borderline balance between the real and the surreal, she makes the audience stop and, sometimes, think. She deals with sexuality, birth, maturity, with a focus on what means to be a woman today. True to photography, she uses light and the mundane of everyday objects to allow us “visit” her magic Kingdom. She is not trying to shock anyone, even with her more intense visuals, but she is just trying to send us a message. A message we might understand, or might not, but that we definitely cannot ignore.
